Case Name: JUANA PEREZ 1-51/JUAN PEREZ 5E-50 v. DOLE FOOD COMPANY, INC.

Plaintiffs: Legal heirs of decedents who died as a direct and proximate result of the conduct of the Defendants

Summary: In April 2009, a complaint was filed in the Superior Court of California against Dole Food Company, Inc., on behalf of 73 heirs of individuals murdered by AUC paramilitaries or a predecessory paramilitary organization. Many of these heirs were themselves victims of human rights abuses, including physical and mental injuries.
